My first experience at Cinebarre will definitely have me coming back! I went to see a newly released movie, so even though it was busy when I went in the staff was still quick about their work. The cocktail I got from the bar was incredible, and a staff member went around making sure people could place orders if they wanted anything before the movie started once we were seated. My only complaint is that the sound seemed a bit low in the theater area, but I was near the back and it is understandable that noise leaks in from the outside since the exits are not closed while the movie plays. Overall it was a great experience and I plan to return.
I love watching movies here. The staff are really nice, the food is delicious and the seats are comfortable. This is one of the better theaters in Salem located in beautiful, historic downtown.
This place is so hit and miss. My first visit was positive. Service was slow, but there's a movie to entertain you while you wait. My second visit was pretty ridiculous. The theater smelled super gross, like moldy food. Yuck. We put in our order and food was brought out in a reasonable time, but only half our party got drinks. Then one drink came out, but the server said they had my drink, an iced tea, "brewing" and they'd bring it later. I had finished my meal, still no drink. Finally I called the server who said none of the servers knew how to make tea (um, really? It's water and a tea bag) and they had to wait for the bartender. I did not order and alcoholic drink, to be clear. Just a plain old iced tea. I finally got it ten minutes before the two hour movie ended. As I left the theater, I overheard a lady and her friend who did not receive their order at all and had complained to the manager.
Lots of the one star reviews here are people bitching about $15 burgers at a movie theater. Don't be like those people. This is a good place.
I'm only giving 5 starts because I notice Cinebarre will only reply back to those who give them 5 starts so 5 starts to bad customer service. . Is a great place, seats are comfy but their CUSTOMER SERVICE NEED IMMEDIATLY IMPROVEMENT. couple weeks ago, I was there and placed my order, when the lady came back with my food she dropped it (not big deal mistakes happen) but there was no apology or will be back with more so I assume she was going back to replace my order but I guess she didn't and when the movie ended they send me the bill, I obviously did not pay but was so upset my order never got replace. Once again went back I place my order and never got my food deliver to me at All! very disappointed of this place and their customer service and waitress always busy and rush that don't have time to stop and talk to you so they just ignore you when you try to get their attention or have the light on. ;/
Clean theaters, decent food, good picture and sound, friendly and attentive employees.
