Terrible. Ordered a dishwasher 9/21/17. Our invoice says delivery is 9/29/17. No phone cal, didn't show up, had to call. Excuse they give is they forgot to print out report. Waited all day, took day off. This was on a Friday. Now we have to wait till the following Wednesday. It will be 15 days now. Will never order anything from them again.
his knowledge and suggestions complemented out thoughts to a tee!
Appropriate choices so that we left confident in having chosen a complete " package" of appliances.
So far so good, right? So, why the one star rating? Maytag, in their quest to get kudos from the energy conservation world, has built a washer which uses so little water that it barely even get the clothes wet, let alone clean. It does have a "deep fill" button. Which, near as I can tell, does absolutely nothing. We find ourselves bucketing water from the kitchen sink to the washer just to get enough water in the damn thing to insure that the clothes get wet, never mind clean. I'd have been better off to have bought an old wash tub and a scrub board.
A great asset to the company and to all customers fortunate to work with Jon in Salem, Oregon! kudos!
Jon was amazing!!
We have found everything we need in one stop at Kelly's. They are always very helpful, answer our questions and their prices are very competitive.
I bought a Maytag top loader washer and matching dryer. I fell for the lonely repair man ad and the five year warranty. I was impressed that you folks actually had an inventory of laundry equipment which I could take home that same day. The other big box stores wanted me to wait 7-10 days. I don't know about the rest of the world. But, my dirty clothes don't quit coming just because my washer dies.
I've written a similar e-mail to Maytag. I doubt that it will do any good. But I had to try.

My husband and I just finished buying a large number of new appliances for our home, which we're renovating. We contacted over 20 stores in Oregon and California, to decide on the best brands and models for our needs and to get the best prices. Our stores ranged all the way from several Home Depots, Lowes, Best Buys, and Sears stores to small appliance chains and individual appliance stores. It was a lot of work but we also learned a lot. We "met" a goodly number of helpful people. Interestingly, virtually all the stores had comparable prices. But, by far, the most knowledgeable and helpful person was Nathan Dye at Kelly's Home Center in Salem Oregon. He worked with us via Email, over the phone, and in person. It's hard to believe someone so young knows so much about appliances. He's really quite incredible. The most remarkable part is that it became clear early on that, for geographic reasons, we wouldn't be buying from him. Despite that, he continued to help and advise us. He's knowledgeable and a good teacher. His advice was practical and specific to our needs and situation. I would love to have an employee like him. Kelly's is extremely lucky to have him working with them.
